Our observations show that the world of charging stations for EV cars is often seen as complex due to its novelty, technical nature, safety concerns, and pricing barriers. However, our EV 100 charging station aims to clear up these misconceptions.
By offering an affordable, secure, and easy-to-use solution the EV 100 aims to democratize home charging stations, positioning Norauto as a key player in this market.
We aimed for a simple and reassuring design to make home charging more accessible. We started by clearing the front to feature only a vertical LED strip that indicates the charging status, the only important information for the user. The socket is now positioned on the side of the station to reduce clutter, especially when placed in a garage.
The design is exceptionally sleek. It integrates discreetly and elegantly with the house facade. We have put in significant effort to conceal all technical and unsightly elements, such as screws and cable passages.
Our daily lives are already filled with screens, interfaces, and applications. Most electric cars come with their own charge management apps. With this in mind, and to offer an ultra-simple charging solution, the station operates without any buttons, screens, or apps. It's simple. Just plug and charge.
The dynamic load balancing feature, directly connected to your meter, adjusts the power delivered by the station based on the consumption of other household appliances, ensuring that the subscribed power limit is not exceeded. This automatic functionality helps save energy and prevent power outages.
With this charging station, Norauto aims to democratize individual charging stations for EV cars and reduce dependence on fossil fuels.
